I live in Minnesota and work as a production assistant on sets. I got these pants to wear when I'm going to be outdoors on location all day. They are very comfy and warm and the lining is nice and soft. I usually wear these with a pair of thin wool long johns as well though as lately the temps have been in the teens and negative digits, and this combo is effective to be warm enough but not overheating when I go inside. The water resistance is good. Recently for a job I had to kneel in deep snow during a snowstorm, feeding snow into a fan for a blizzard effect, and I stayed dry and warm! That's pretty much a lifesaver when you work 12 hour days and don't have time to get dry or change clothes. I wear these for winter walks and other outdoor activities as well and they're great. The only drawback for me is that they fit a little big and don't look as stylish as shown on the model. I feel like they aren't as fitted as I expected and the ankle is barely fitted at all, almost making them more like a straight pant than a jogger, but maybe I should have sized down. I'm 5'8" and a half, 140 pounds for reference. But overall feeling comfortable and being able to get outdoors in Minnnesota winters is never going to win you a strike contest, so I'm fine looking a little dorky in these pants for now. Though, I would suggest they change the drawstring to these pants. It is super stretchy, so trying to tighten the waist of the pants feels like it does nothing.

These pants are comfy and warm. Nice and soft on the inside and wind- and water-resistant on the outside. I use them for hiking and just hanging around the house. I love the zip pockets to carry my phone and ID cards when I take longs hikes. I think they look great, too, very flattering for a sport pant. The smoke color is neutral, which I like. I am 5'8", about 147 lbs, and my normal inseam for jeans is 32". On the 10T, the inseam is 31", which hits me at the ankle, perfect IMO. The 10 is just right -- not tight, not baggy -- and on very cold days, I can wear long underwear with them and they are still comfortable. I am going to buy a second pair!

My search for a water-resistant winter pant is over. I've purchased and returned all kinds of pants. These pants (while not particular stylish) were the best combo of fit and function. The lining makes them toasty warm. The cut (sort of loose but not clown-like) makes them comfy. Waist is just below my belly button. Rise feels right. I have worn them all week for my daily dog walks and hikes. Temperatures have ranged from 30 to 42 degrees. They handled today's light rain fine. I don't think they would be appropriate for heavier rain on longer (1 hour+ hikes). But that's why I have rain pants. If I keep our indoor temps on the cool side, I can wear them indoors, too. I'm 5-2, 105 pounds, and size 0 regular is perfect. I also ordered size 2, but they were too baggy. The regular sizing works for my petite size (YAY), so if you're taller I suggest you order the tall version. I'd buy another pair/another color but they are now out of stock. Hope to see them again next season.
