Great for skinning and skiing. Fit great. Not baggy.

Tal is tall enough but these pants run small

I have ordered Large Tall in all types of pants from Eddie Bauer. From pajamas to hiking pants to ski pants. I ordered another pair of ski pants along with this pair and this pair is super snug compared to the other pair that fit perfectly. I'm 6'4" and 200 lbs for reference. Otherwise the material and quality is top notch. Just have to return these for an extra large.

    Tall size ain't tall enough

I ordered these for backcountry skiing, but they never made it out of the house. The construction and styling are OK, more "ruggedized" and less refined than the Guide Pro Alpine pants. Overall fit was fine for my slender build and 32" waist, but the length is pretty short for a Tall size. I couldn't find a Tall inseam measurement published anywhere for this pant, but customer service said M-waist pants in this category should have a 34" inseam. That would be pretty typical for a tall size and would usually work for me. I measured these at 33", tops, if I'm being generous. The hems just pulled up too close to the tops of my AT boots when I bent over to fasten buckles. (I found the same problem with the Guide Pro Alpine Stretch pants I ordered at the same time.) Backcountry skiers may also want note that the slightly fleecy interior seemed like it could get a little grabby with base layers when climbing.
